So what is delusion really means? Delusion cannot be real. Delusion must break off all relations with realities in all forms. Reality must be blocked out. Why? probably because reality bites. Therefore, for delusion to survive, it must create its own vacuums. Pegassus, a winged horse is an example of mythology created from delusional mental state. For delusion to exist in people mind, delusion must create a vacuum and the vacuum must fill out the void in the mental state. Succinctly, delusion cannot exist in reality. So how about illusion? what is so difference between delusion and illusion? The opposite of delusion is faith. So you are accused for being delusional, just say 'I have faith'.
Story of my life: when I started writing my phd dissertation 2 years ago, I was indifferent to what is reality, delusions, illusions and imaginations as long as it bring inspirations. Along the way, for whatever sentence that i wrote must be backed up with something concrete so that it will create the distance between delusion and reality. I was asked to make a presentation for the third time on this coming October. Rumors say I will have to let go my two year work. Now, the two-year writing will be thrown up into the drain, the work that I have 'faith' in it. I waited for responds for two years but no one ever have solid respond to my presentations and I had presented twice in the phd colloquium. Its because, no souls in the institution acquire the knowledge of accounting standards, FRS and IFRS. Who are being delusional now? Will I snap? You bet I will. If I go down, do you expect me to go down quietly?
